Why I Started Dot Info Domination

I am a huge fan of Ben's work ethic over at Make Money Online With Seo (although he must be busy as hell since he is updating his blog less and less).  That is OK as many of the forum members have stepped up to the plate and started building a nice community of information sharing.  If you have never been there, drop by and say "hello."

Anyway, there is a particular forum member (Dave@OliveArticles) that posed the question "how much money per day will make you stop [internet marketing]?"  Later in his post, Dave gives out some pretty bold advice:

I was thinking about that and if I had to start again knowing the basics about backlinks etc and how to build wordpress sites here is what I would do:

Buy 100 .info's
Spend 3 months putting 10 pages of content on each, with each post being a product specific title with a make and model number plus the word reviews.
Each site would be a insertkeywordreviews.info
I would write about top selling products over a myriad of categories on Amazon
Spend another month after that giving them all backlinks.

I am sure that those 4 months of hard work would give more than $100 a day, plus there is a ready made link network to use and you would uncover some niches that will fly and could be turned in to main authority sites that would rock.

That is if I was to start again or had the time.

So I thought, "what the hell?"  Why don't I do it myself and see if will work?  Of course, because I am easily distracted, I chose option number one, "buy 100 .infos" and crank them for three months, followed by a month of serious backlinking. 

This should be a challenge for me in that I have never even made one sale on Amazon.  However, if all goes as planned, I should be making $100 per day on my future Amazon Snipers by August 17, 2010. 

I guess only time will tell.
